“Noctaflora”

I was a bit surprised when I received my order to find a supposed $179 item sent in a flimsy mailing bag. I ordered the "Top-Grain Leather" version and there were no labels or description on the shipping bag or an order slip indicating that it was the natural leather version. The description mentioned the "natural, earthy leather smell." I have had many leather items including shoes, jackets, baseball gloves, and I know the distinctive smell the description was referring to. However, I cannot detect much of any smell on this new bag, which leaves me wondering if I may have paid for an upgraded item that I am unsure of receiving.

The sizing description was accurate, and the print/design is as pictured on the website and pretty cool looking.

I just would expect for a potential high value item (without the discount), it would have better packaging and an obvious indication it was the item ordered.

For such an expensive bag you’d think they would package it in a box not an envelope. I cannot express enough how disappointed I was to see an envelope at my door. Of course it’s damaged and dented. There was no packaging! Just an expensive bag thrown into a cheap plastic bag and shipped. Get some boxes! Make this right and fix the packaging and send a new bag.
Update: They reached out after seeing my review and told me to put books in my bag to “see if it returns to its original shape.” And also said “while we are not yet able to immediately switch to box packaging, please know that we are actively reviewing ways to better protect our items during transit” which I don’t know how you could possibly be ensuring your products are protected when they’re literally thrown into a plastic bag with a fragile sticker on it and expecting it to come in good condition. Save yourself the time and money and buy from somewhere else!!

This is a gift for my daughter who loves this esthetic. The purse is so gorgeous, I was seriously keeping it for myself. The purse is very well made. I love the sturdy zipper to close it up (she works in the French Quarter). The strap attaches in a way that it does not strange if you decide not to use it making it very versatile. Highly recommend!
